Exterior Wood Restoration Company, Inc. is a full service exterior wood restoration contractor serving Indiana and parts of Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky since 1991. We focus on the restoration and preservation of a variety of exterior wood structures including cedar shake roofs, decks, fences, log homes, wood siding, pergolas and gazebos.

We are the only Cedar Shake and Shingle Bureau (CSSB) certified contractor in the state of Indiana. The CSSB has very stringent guidelines that must be met prior to issuing certification to a contractor. Our company continues to adhere to these guidelines when installing or restoring a shake roof.

Our restoration process is designed to restore your exterior wood to its best possible appearance. Our unique treatment formula we developed personally, Timber Ox® Green, keeps wood protected for years to come.

  • John Nearon – Vice President and Director of Operations
    John has been with Exterior Wood Restoration since 2004 and makes customer satisfaction his personal mission. John oversees all roofing projects and can answer any question you have regarding this process. He takes great pride in the company's ability to routinely exceed customer expectations.
  • Lyn Jackson – Business Manager
    Lyn is your first point of contact with the company and "go to" person for any questions regarding estimates, billing issues or general information. She has been with Exterior Wood Restoration since 2005, lending her personal knowledge and expertise to the success of the company.
  • Rojelio Campos – Deck Supervisor
    Rojelio joined Exterior Wood Restoration in 2006 and manages the crews that work on decks, fences, log homes and wood siding. Hardworking and personable, Rojelio consistently pleases his customers.
  • Dan Smith – Sales Manager
    Dan has been with the company since 2001 and handles sales for the installation or restoration of decks, fences, log homes or wood siding. Well-versed in all matters related to these areas, Dan can provide the answer to any question you have.
  • Roofing crew
    Our expert roofing crew has worked together for many years to produce the superior results Exterior Wood Restoration is known for. Together, they have over 100 years of combined roofing experience specific to cedar shake and shingles.

History

Todd Forth, owner, started the company in 1991. His goal was to create a business that provided excellent service and stood by its work. Exterior Wood Restoration is exactly what he envisioned this company to be.

Exterior Wood Restoration is located in Central Indiana. The deck, fence and log home restoration side of our business services all of Indiana. The cedar shake roof portion of our business services parts of Illinois, all of Indiana, southern and eastern Ohio and northern Kentucky. Timber-Ox-Green

Timber Ox® Green

Timber Ox® Green was developed by Exterior Wood Restoration in response to our dissatisfaction with current inferior products. This unique formulation contains high solids and wood protecting compounds which do not build up or wash away. As a result, Timber Ox® Green bonds deep inside the wood at a cellular level to deliver long lasting results. It provides durable protection from the damaging effects of UV radiation, water, wood rot, fungal attack, mold, mildew and ozone.

Timber Ox® Green is an agriculturally renewable oil based stain and does not use petroleum based solvents. Since Timber Ox® Green contains 94% agriculturally derived ingredients it qualifies as a bio-preferred stain with the USDA.
